Direct Indirect Speech – बात-चीत को दो प्रकार से व्यक्त किया जाता है| जब वक्ता के शब्दों को जैसे का तैसा बिना शब्द परिवर्तन किए हुए कहा जाता है, तो उसे Direct Speech (Narration) कहते है| किन्तु जब वक्ता के शब्दों में आवश्यकतानुसार परिवर्तन करके वक्ता के भाव को व्यक्त करते है, तो इसे Indirect Speech (Narration) कहते है|

Direct Indirect Speech Example-

       Direct Speech – He said to me, “I am your best friend.”

       Indirect Speech – He told me that he was my best friend.
