President of India – New President of India – Ram Nath Kovind, The President of India is the Head of the State and Supreme Commander of the armed forces. He is elected by the member of an electoral College that comprise all elected members Of both Houses of Parliament and the Legislative Assemblies of the State and Union Territories of India. The president holds Office for a term of five years.
